[PH] Map Suggestions (Tested Without CS:S Installed)

Stardestroyer

-Decent map layout.
-Unique props.
-You can become a Star Wars droid.

Western City

-Huge prop selection.
-Good spot potential.
-Cool theme.
-Brand new, so the amount of servers that have this map is probably low, which could draw in newcomers.

Skyscraper

-Decent prop variety.
-Nice design.
-Open map layout.

Pirate Ship

-Excellent layout with tight rooms and verticality.
-A classic map. As iconic as a map like Restaurant.

Waste

Minecraft Awakening

-Thought Minecraft TTT was the best enough? How about this.

Kakcasts

-Kakariko Village's claustrophobic cousin.
-Essentially just a smaller kakariko with a bit more props. I prefer the original but it'd be a great replacement for godawful maps like Cruce.
-Limited Spawns.

Firefly

-Not as recognizable as Pirate Ship, but still quite an icon.
-Great layout with tons of spot potential.
-Good prop variety.

Food Court

VG School

-Well-designed and definitely represents what a school looks like than the other school maps
-Very tight and claustrophobic
-Similar in layout to highflooroffice

Maps that need to go

Bunkier V3X

Not the worst map I've played, but there's one fatal flaw. I'm surprised its taken this long to be reported, but the map sometimes restricts the downstairs gate from opening. This allows any props inside the room to be invulnerable if they stay far enough away from the hunters.

Cruce

This is just an awful map. The layout is so small, you're essentially forced to use that glitch to get on top of the map to win as a prop. Also, many larger props on that map get stuck and glitch through the floor when using the unstuck command. This means at least one staff member is required to stay in spectator to teleport props back to the map, not that you'd want to play this map to begin with.

Purity

This map is a clusterfuck. So many small props scattered throughout the map, and unlike coctus_house, which is funny in that regard, it's tedious for anyone playing hunter.

Train Station

This map is too large. Winning as hunters is damn near impossible.




It is always possible that one of the maps I've recommended were on the server previously and were removed. Either way, I hope this is useful. I tested about 15 maps. Either they were unplayable, or worked just fine. One thing that may be a problem is spawn count, so understand these may not all be added in the future.

I agree with most of these, but the one thing that I dont think will work is the Pirate Ship map, it only has a 25 player spawn cap, we'd run into the same problem as Gas Station

I'm going to look and see if I can find a version of pirate ship with a spawn cap higher than 25. As I said, not all of these are guaranteed to work on our 40-Slot server, just as Kakcasts has a 32 spawn cap.

I perosnally would be very intrested in all these maps Smile Hope we do end up adding them at some point.

Same guy who made ph_elementary school, and ph_abandoned_hotel

It does not Require CS:S, and has a 48 player spawn cap
